|
When you buy our proven self-study course, you're entitled to receive our exclusive Proposal Evaluation Tool (PET). It was originally designed to help commercial organizations, institutions, non profits and individuals write winning proposals. We've added our own value-engineering touch so that you can easily do your own rigorous self-evaluation of your proposal.
How did the PET come about?
During the transfer of over 4,000 proposal writing course packages, there were dozens of requests from recipients for diagnostic tools to assist them in evaluating their proposals prior to submission. With the PET, these needs are addressed.
The PET uses a systematic approach to proposal assessment and improvement. For years, large corporations have been successfully employing systematic approaches in the development of commercial proposals and award applications. In developing the PET, a proposal writing expert analyzed over 300 proposal related documents, including the following:
- Requests for proposals (RFPs) and guidelines - government, corporate, and foundation
- Proposals - winning and losing proposals involving a cross section of grant giving and grant seeking organizations
- Evaluator guides - used by some organizations to award grants
- Grant writing courses
- Grant writing literature
Using the analysis results, the author identified 100 core characteristics of a winning proposal. He then created and tested an assessment model. Based on test results, the author then modified the assessment model, eliminating and combining items to create the basic PET document.
We are confident that the PET will be a major factor in helping you write winning proposals.
